SPECIAL FUNCTIONS

- Pulse Function: for greater precision when
manually packing delicate foods, the "PULSE"
button will suck the air from the bag as long as
the button is pressed. The button may be pressed
intermittently for greater precision. Once the de-
sired vacuum level has been reached, press the
"Seal" button to begin the sealing phase. Upon
completion of this stage, the lid will open auto-
matically after a beep.
- Seal Only function: functions when the lid
is fully lowered. It is recommended for sealing
when the vacuum is not necessary, when it is
desired to force sealing in the automatic cycle or
in manual packing.
- Accessory function: this function can create
the vacuum in special recipients. Connect the
suction tube to the recipient connector and con-
nect the other end to the recipient (suction tubes
and recipients are not included). Once the con-
nection is made, press the "Canister" button and
the suction process will begin. Upon reaching
the optimal vacuum level, the packing machine
will stop automatically. At this point, the recipient
can be disconnected. The display will light up
with the progress of the vacuum ("Vacuum")
process. This function may only be used with
accessories specifically designed for vacuum
packing.
- Marinate function: with this function, foods
can be marinated in special recipients. Place the
food you wish to marinate in the recipient along
with its seasoning.
Important: ground spices which are not well
mixed with the sauce may obstruct or cause se-
rious damage to the vacuum pump. Connect the
suction tube to the connector for recipients and
connect the other end to the recipient (suction
tubes and recipients are not included). Once
the connection has been made, press the "Mar-
inate" button. The packing machine will begin
to carry out intermittent suction cycles, thereby
allowing the seasoning to penetrate the pores of
the food. This function must only be used with ac-
cessories specifically designed for vacuum pack-
ing. The display will light up with the progress of
the marinate process.
- Cancel function: any function can be cance-
lled by pressing the "Cancel" button.
USING THE PACKING MACHINE WITH REELS
This packing machine is equipped with a reel
compartment compatible with Elma vacuum pac-
king reels of the following sizes: 15x600cm,
20x600cm and 30x600cm. To place the reel
in its compartment, gently pull the upper lid
upward, then place it in the compartment, stret-
ching the reel until obtaining the desired bag
length, lower the cutter support and slide the
cutter to cut the piece of the reel you wish to
extract. Then place one of the open edges of
the cut piece in the vacuum chamber, properly
extended over the sealing bar. Anchor the lid
and press the "Seal Only" button. The machine
will seal the piece of the reel by this edge, the-
reby creating a bag. From this point, follow the
instructions in point 6.
