17 Unscrew the hose from the tire valve, unplug the electric plug from the socket and
stow the ContiComfortKit safely.
After the sealing compound has been used, the max. permissible speed is
80 km/h / 50 mph and the damaged tyre is to be replaced within a distance of 200
km / 120 miles. If vibrations occur, the max. speed must be even slower.
18 After using the ContiComfortKit to seal your tire, replace the sealing compound and
the hose. Information about this is given on page 22.
After a long period without driving, the inflation pressure must be checked before driving off.

Stage: What to do when checking the tyre pressure
1 Remove the hose and cable from the storage compartment at the side (d).
2 Unscrew the valve cap from the defective tyre.
3 Screw the hose (e) tightly onto the tyre valve.
4 Now you can read off the tyre pressure. If it needs to be increased, move on
to Point 5.
5 Make sure that the orange switch (c) of the compressor is on "0".
If the ContiComfortKit is only used to pump air, the orange sealing compound container may
not be rotated.
6 Plug the electric plug (h) into the socket of the cigarette lighter (12 volt connection,
see service manual of the car).
7 Start the engine (only if the car is outdoors.)
If the engine is left running in a badly ventilated or in an unventilated location
(e.g. inside a building) there is a danger of suffocation!
8 Switch the orange switch (c) to "I".
9 Switch off the ContiComfortKit and check the tyre pressure again.
10 After you have inflated the tyre, unscrew the hose, unplug the electric plug and stow
the ContiComfortKit safely.
