Maintenance
!
Work on electrical equipment is only to be
performed by persons with sufficient knowledge and
experience of electrical systems!
7.1
Cleaning
!
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents and coarse
workshop cloths!
¶
The housing and the LCD are only to be cleaned
using a soft cloth and neutral cleaning agents.
7.2
Replacing printer paper
1. Open the printer cover (fig. 1, item 5) on the front of
the BEA 750.
2. Remove the empty roll of paper.
3. Place the new roll of paper (correctly oriented) in
the paper feeder (fig. 6, item 1).

The paper can be printed on one side only.

4. Guide the paper through the slot in the printer cover
and close the cover to where it snaps in position.

The roll of paper is loaded.

The paper is fed with the paper feed key.
¶
Pull the paper sideways against the sharp edge to
tear off the paper.

7.3
Service intervals

Routine maintenance ensures constant readiness for
operation.
The following maintenance intervals are to be observed
unless otherwise specified by the approval authorities.
7.3.1
Half-yearly maintenance
¶
Replacement of coarse filter GF1 (see sec. 5.2) in
the exhaust gas sampling hose.
¶
Replacement of coarse filter GF2 (see sec. 7.4.4).
¶
Check whether the PVC hose is connected to the gas
and condensate outlet (fig. 7, item 7).
¶
Visually inspect the sampling probe.
¶
Leak test of exhaust gas sampling probe (see
sec. 7.4.1).
7.3.2
Annual maintenance
This maintenance work is to be performed by a
qualified maintenance service. It comprises the half-
yearly maintenance and the following additional points:

Checking of BEA 750 measurement accuracy with a
test gas.
¶
Replacement of active carbon filter (fig. 7, item 4) in
zero gas path.
¶
Replacement of coarse filter GF3 (see sec. 7.4.4)
Compliance with the specifications of the relevant
authorities must be ensured.
