To prepare the AC adapter:
1.
Select the appropriate mains adapter and
plug it into the AC adapter provided.
2.
Plug the USB plug of the USB cable provided
into the AC adapter.
Charging the battery:
1.
Connect the micro USB plug of the USB
cable to the USB port
MarSurf PS 10 and plug the AC adapter into
the mains socket.

Measurements can be carried out

as soon as the AC adapter has been
con nected.
The battery will be fully charged after approx.
3 hours and the instrument automatically
switches from rapid charge to trickle charge.

To display the current battery capacity in %:
Disconnect the MarSurf PS 10 from the AC
adapter and tap Info in the menu.
The MarSurf PS 10 can also be charged by
connecting it to a computer via its USB port
(6).
If the computer has a special USB charging port,
the charging time also takes approx. 3 hours.
If, however, the computer has a regular USB port,
charging will take approx. 6 to 7 hours.

Setting up the measuring
station
The MarSurf PS 10 can be placed on flat or
cylindrical surfaces as a complete unit (see
figure 1, above).
The drive unit can be removed from the
MarSurf PS 10 and placed in its vee-block
holder (9) on flat or cylindrical surfaces (see
figure 1, below).

The drive unit can be mounted in the
optional hand-held support (6910434) sep-
arately from the evaluation instrument.

The hand-held support can be set to differ-
ent heights using the optional, height-
adjustable feet (6850720).
The MarSurf PS 10 can be attached to a
MarSurf ST-D, ST-F or ST-G measuring stand
as a complete unit.
An optional holder (6910209) is required for
this.
The drive unit can be attached to a MarSurf
ST-D, ST-F or ST-G measuring stand in the
optional hand-held support (6910434).
An optional holder (6851304) is required for
this.
