EN – Foot step
The accessories are intended for professional fitting. ŠKODA AUTO recommends that
they are fitted by a contractual partner.
Please note: Due to the complex nature of the work required to
remove and refit the A-pillar trim, we recommend having this work
carried out by a contractual partner.
Applies to the KODIAQ (NS) only:
The foot step cannot be used in conjunction with the all-weather
interior mats (two-part set for left-hand drive vehicles – front, order
no. 566 061 502).
The footrest set is designed for left-hand drive ŠKODA OCTAVIA (5E),
ŠKODA SUPERB (3V) and ŠKODA KODIAQ (NS) vehicles.
The figures in these instructions provide general fitting information. The instructions
describe and use figures to explain how to fit the footrest to the ŠKODA Octavia (5E3)
(fig. 7A, 8A and 14A). Other than the differences illustrated, the procedure for fitting
the footrest to the Superb (3V) and KODIAQ (NS) is identical (see fig. 7B, 8B and 14B).

Brief description of how to fit the footrest (see figures).
Fig. 2, 3, 4 – Remove the bonnet release mechanism lever.
Please note: Take great care when removing the retaining clip from
the release lever (see detail in fig. 3); if the clip falls behind the
A-pillar trim, wait until you have removed the A-pillar trim before you
retrieve it.
Fig. 5, 6, 7A, 8A, 7B, 8B – Remove the A-pillar trim in accordance with the
ŠKODA Repair Manual, and using the figures if necessary.
Please note: Take great care when releasing the clips on the vehicle
sill (section B - B, arrows 2 in fig. 7A and 8A and section B - B, arrow 3
in fig. 7B and 8B) – significant force is required to release the clips,
and it is important to make sure that you do not break off the plastic
components on the A-pillar trim (OCTAVIA) and sill trim (SUPERB,
KODIAQ) when you do so.
Fig. 9, 10 – Remove the existing footrest, as shown in the figures.
Fig. 11, 12, 13 – To fit the new footrest, proceed in the reverse order.
Please note: Make sure that the footrest's clips are properly inserted
into the openings in the footrest bracket (see detail with arrows and
arrows in fig. 11) and that the footrest is properly clipped into the
footrest bracket's clips (see detail in fig. 13).
Fig. 14A, 14B, 15, 16 – Refit the A-pillar trim in accordance with the ŠKODA Repair
Manual, and using the figures if necessary.
Please note: Make sure that the A-pillar trim is positioned correctly in
the groove in the footrest (see arrows 1 in fig. 14A and 14B).
Fig. 17, 18, 19 – Refit the bonnet release mechanism lever.
Please note: Reinsert the retaining clip into the lever exactly as
shown in fig. 17, hold it in place (fig. 18) and, once you have refitted
the lever, push the clip in as far as it will go (see detail in fig. 19).

CZ - Opěrka nohy
Produkty příslušenství jsou určeny k odborné montáži. ŠKODA AUTO doporučuje
provádět montáž u smluvních partnerů.
Upozornění. Montáž doporučujeme provést u smluvních partnerů
vzhledem k náročnosti demontáže a montáže obložení A-sloupku.
Platí jen pro vozy KODIAQ (NS):
Opěrku nohy nelze kombinovat s celoročními interiérovými koberci
(dvoudílná sada pro levostranné řízení - přední, obj. č. 566 061 502).
Sada opěrky nohy je určena pro vozy ŠKODA OCTAVIA (5E), ŠKODA SUPERB (3V) a
ŠKODA KODIAQ (NS) s levostranným řízením.
Obrázky v návodu slouží jako obecná informace k montáži. V návodu je zobrazena a
popsána montáž opěrky nohy na vůz ŠKODA OCTAVIA (5E) -obr. 7A, 8A, 14A-. Postup
montáže opěrky nohy do vozu SUPERB (3V) a KODIAQ (NS) je až na zobrazené odliš-
nosti obdobný -obr. 7B, 8B, 14B-.

Stručný popis montáže opěrky nohy (dále jen opěrky) (viz. obrázky).
Obr. 2, 3, 4 - Demontujte páku odjištění kapoty.
Upozornění. Dbejte zvýšené pozornosti při demontáži pojistky páky
odjištění kapoty -detail obr. 3-, pokud pojistka zapadne za obložení
A-sloupku, vyjměte ji po demontáži obložení A-sloupku.
Obr. 5, 6, 7A, 8A, 7B, 8B - Dle Dílenské příručky ŠKODA, příp. postupem dle obrázků
demontujte obložení A-sloupku.
Upozornění. Dbejte zvýšené pozornosti při odjišťování klipů na prahu
vozu -řez B-B, šipky 2 obr. 7A, 8A- a -řez B-B, šipka 3 obr. 7B, 8B-, pro
odjištění klipů je zapotřebí větší síla, ale zároveň nesmí dojít k
polámání plastových částí obložení A-sloupku (OCTAVIA) a obložení
prahu (SUPERB, KODIAQ).
Obr. 9, 10 - Demontujte stávající opěrku dle obrázků.
Obr. 11, 12, 13 - Opačným postupem namontujte novou opěrku.
