1.1 Fields of application

The pump is used for forced circula-
tion of liquids in pipe systems.
The main fields of application are:
– Hot water heating systems,
– Chilled and condenser water sys-
tems,
– Closed industrial circulating sys-
tems,
The pumps must not be
used for handling drin-
king water or food rela-
ted liquids.

1.2 Product data

1.2.1 Pump series
The various characteristics of diffe-
rent circulating systems has lead to
the development of a number of
purpose-designed circulating pump
series. These can be summed up in
the following series of similar fea-
tures:
– RP, P Series, maximum speed
1400 r.p.m., 4-speed motors,
– RP: Screw ended pumps,
– P: Flange ended pumps,
– RS, S Series, maximum speed
2700 r.p.m., 4-speed motors,
– RS: Screw ended pumps,
– S: Flange ended pumps,
– DOP, DOS-Series, twin pumps,
4-speed motors,
– DOP: Maximum speed
1400 r.p.m.,
flange ended pumps,

1.2.3 Technical data

Permissible fluids:
– Heating water to VDI 2035,
– Water and water/glycol mixtures
up to a ratio of 1:1. Glycol mixtu-
res require a reassessment of
pump hydraulic data in line with
the increased viscosity depending
on the actual mixing ratio. Only
approved makes of additives with
corrosion inhibitors must be used
in strict compliance with manufac-
turer's instructions.
