When using any type of power tool, there are steps that must be taken to ensure that you as a
user remain safe.
Common sense and respect for the tool will help reduce the risk of injury.
Read the instruction manual completely. Do not attempt to perform any operations until you
have read and understood this manual.
The most important thing is to know how to start and stop this machine safely, especially in an
emergency.
Keep the work area neat and clean. Trying to eliminate clutter around the machine during use
will reduce its concentration. Oil spills on the oor can cause accidents. Liquid spilled on the
oor could cause it to slip.
Find a suitable location. If the machine is bench mounted, the location should have good natu-
ral or arti cial lighting. Avoid places with humidity and dust, as it will have a negative e ect on
the performance of the machine. If the machine is portable, do not expose the tool to rain. In
all cases, do not operate power tools near ammable materials.
Keep spectators away. Children, bystanders, and bystanders should be away from the work
area for their own safety. The safety light curtain must be located at a suitable distance from
the tool operator.
Unplug and store all unused power tools. A power tool should never be left unattended while
connected to a power source. Power tools, including battery chargers, should be in a suitable,
locked location, out of the reach of children.
Do not overload or misuse the tool. All tools are designed for a purpose and are limited to be
adapted in any way for an application for which it was not designed. Select an appropriate tool
for the type of job. Overloading a tool will cause tool failure and injury to the user. This includes
the use of accessories.
