5. PREPARING THE DRILL
CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK - FIGS. 1 - 2
Important: Only SIEFKEN designated battery packs and changers can be used in conjunction with this
product.
Use of this product with any other third party battery / charger pack is considered misuse and will void
the product warranty.
Once connected to the utility grid, recharging the battery can generally be left unsupervised, requiring
minimal attention. A complex circuit monitors the state of the battery, adjusts the recharging current
when the recharging cycle is completed, maintaining full capacity, and a low output current will conti-
nue if necessary.
Warning!
Check the condition of the charger and battery before each change.
If there is any sign of damage, then do not recharge, seek help from SIEFKEN. The battery is supplied
without charge, it must be charged before initial use.
To charge the battery (10), you must rst remove it from the tool.
To release the battery:
- Press the battery release button (11) and gently slide the battery out (Fig.1).
- Connect the battery charger unit (9) to a 2V / AC 13amp three pin power socket.
