Have this tool repaired by a quali ed person. This tool is designed to comply with relevant
international and local regulations and, as such, should be reviewed and repaired by quali ed
personnel, using only original parts supplied by the manufacturer. This will ensure that the tool
remains safe to use.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR ROTARY HAMMER

Warnings
1. Wear ear protectors. Exposure to noise can cause hearing loss.
2. Use the auxiliary handles, if supplied with the tool. Loss of machine control can cause perso-
nal injury.
3. Hold the power tool by the insulated grips when performing an operation where the cutting
attachment may come in contact with hidden wires or its own wire. Cutting attachment that
comes in contact with a "live" wire can cause the exposed metal parts of the power tool to be
"live" and could cause an electric shock to the operator.
4. Wear a helmet (safety helmet), safety glasses and / or face shield. Ordinary glasses or sun-
glasses are NOT safety glasses. It is also highly recommended that you wear a dust mask and
thick padded gloves.
5. Make sure the bit is locked in place before operation.
6. Under normal operating conditions, the tool is designed to produce vibration, the screws
can be easily loosened, causing a breakdown or accident. Check the tightness of the screws
carefully before operation.
7. In cold weather or when the tool has not been used for a long time, allow the tool to warm
up for a while, operating without load. Loss of lubrication, or inadequate heating, will make
hammering di cult.
8. Always make sure you have a rm footing. Make sure no one is underneath when using the
tool in high places.
9. Hold the tool rmly with both hands.
10. Keep your hands away from moving parts.
11. Do not leave the tool running. Only operate the tool when it is in your hands.
12. Do not point the tool at anyone. The tip could y and cause serious injury to someone.
13. Do not touch the bit or parts near the bit immediately after operation; they may be hot.
