1. Collocare e aprire l'ombrellone
a) Unire le sezioni del palo, ponendole una sull'altra, e fermarle bene con la vite di serraggio.
b) Mettere la capote dell'ombrellone sull'estremità superiore del palo e avvitare.
c) Collocare il dispositivo di fissaggio in un luogo idoneo. Fare attenzione al dimensionamento corretto. Infilare il palo nel
tubo portante e fermarlo con il morsetto del tubo base.
d) Fare attenzione che essa si trovi posizionata verso il basso e che non incroci alcuna
stecca.
2. Chiudere
a) Allentare la leva di serraggio, sganciarla dal cursore e chiudere.
b) Estrarre il tessuto fra le stecche, sistemarlo con cautela tutt'intorno e fermarlo con la
cintura.

Designated Use
Fortino/Fortero is to be used exclusively as weatherproof sun protection.
The wind guarantee for an open shade is limited.
Safety
• Protection against dangerous UV rays varies according to the envi-
ronment. In any case, additional precautions are required to protect
your skin.
• Close in the case of brisk wind or an imminent storm. Do not let the
shade flap in the wind as this could damage the material.
• Do not leave shades open while unattended. Eventual damages are
not covered under the warranty.
• Ensure that there are no people or objects nearby on opening or
closing. Otherwise this could lead to injury or damage to property.
• Never place the closed shade unsupported against the wall.
As the centre of gravity of Fortino/Fortero is very high when it is in its
closed position, there is a risk that it could topple over.
• The tie must be adjusted to the appropriate size of the shade.
Maintenance and Care
• When wet, leave the shade to dry out fully extended.
• Only use the protective cover on the shade when dry.
• Store the umbrella in a dry place.
• If necessary, clean the fabric with lukewarm water, fine-fabric
detergent and a sponge. If needed, the material can be soaked in a
fluorine-containing spray.
• Wipe eventual slip lines on the aluminium pole with a damp cloth.
• In most cases, faulty shades can be repaired at your Glatz Partner.
Always use original replacement parts from Glatz.
Life-span
Following proper use and maintenance, your Fortino/ Fortero will bring you
joy for many years to come.
The shade consists of metal and synthetic parts. Disposal at the end of
its life-span is to be carried out according to regional environmental and
waste disposal regulations.
