are in an oil-bath; lay the power hoe down
and check the level of the oil using the cap
(fig. 19, part. A) and top up, if necessary,
through the cap.
The oil drain plug (fig. 20, part. B) is used to
change the transmission oil with SAE 80 W

FITTING THE CUTTER
The tool support shaft has a hexagonal
design for quicker fitting of the cutters.
- Clean cutter hubs and the tool support
shaft carefully; lubricate it to facilitate fitting
and removal.
- Slide the cutter and disc hubs onto the tool
support shaft or together and secure them
using the pins (fig. 21, part. P).
- During fitting, the cutters must be offset as
shown in fig. 21.
- The sharp part of the tines must always be
facing forwards.
- Before starting work, always check that
all the screws and bolts on the hoes are
secured tightly.
