Cleaning the appliance and the retainer magnet
Never clean the device under running water or immerse under water.
Do not steam clean.
DO NOT use solvent-containing (e.g. acetone), aggressive or abrasive cleaners.
To clean the appliance and the retainer magnet wipe only with a
damp cloth
Wipe the drip collector (Fig 8) at least once a day
6.4
Storage
If the device is not used again immediately, the cleaning pins must
be held on the underside of the cleaning beaker with the help of
the magnet Then, place the cleaning beaker upside down on its
lid so that it can drip dry
It is advisable to place a paper towel underneath to absorb the
moisture
If the device is not used for a longer period of time (eg vacation),
it is recommended to carry out hygienic preparation of the system
components before use (see chapter 44)
6.5
Adding cleaning pins
Cleaning the pins or removing the denture from the cleaning beaker can result in a loss of cleaning pins
This reduces the cleaning performance, which is why it is advisable to check the quantity at regular inter-
vals
To restore the intended quantity of 75 g of cleaning pins, place the dry cleaning beaker, including dry pins,
on some scales and add new pins to the total weight of 145 g (gross weight) as required
6.6
Replacing cleaning pins
Replace the cleaning pins when the cleaning and polishing effect
starts to subside
To do this:
⇒ Place the holding magnet on the underside of the beaker and
gently drain the cleaning fluid. For disposal instructions (see
chapter „5.7 Disposal of cleaning fluid").
⇒ Rinse the cleaning beaker and pins to be disposed of with water
(see chapter 61) disinfect (see chapter 44)
⇒ Remove the retaining magnet and tip out the old pins
⇒ The cleaned and disinfected cleaning pins can be disposed of in
the regular waste
⇒ Rinse out the cleaning vessel
⇒ Fill in new cleaning pins
When using the SYMPRO mini-cup, ~ 5 g of pins can be conve-
