For battery operation: check that the batteries
are correctly inserted.
For mains operation: check that the mains plug
or mains adapter is correctly inserted.
Check that the lip valve is correctly positioned.
Hold the pump upright. If the pump is held at an
angle it will switch off automatically.
Check whether there is sufficient battery power.
If a light is illuminated beneath the On/Off but-
ton the batteries are too weak. Insert new bat-
teries.
Turn the suction power regulator towards "+" to
attain the optimum suction strength.
Turn the suction power regulator towards "-".
