year from the date of original purchase. This Warranty covers the
carbon fiber brace frame and AccutracTM hinges. The warranty
covers all other materials, including straps, sleeves and pads for
six months from the date of original purchase. Ossur will repair
or replace, at its discretion, any defective or malfunctioning
part covered under warranty at no charge. Repairs necessitated
by accident, negligence, misuse or abuse by the purchaser are
not covered. Also, consequential and incidental damages are
not recoverable under this warranty. These limitations may not
apply as some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages.
To obtain service under this warranty, please contact the Inside
Sales Department of Ossur at (800) 222-4284 to obtain a Return
Goods Authorization Number. Once you have obtained the
Return Goods Authorization Number, please send your brace
(postage prepaid) with a brief written description of the problem
to: Ossur, 19762 Pauling, Foothill Ranch, CA 92610. Please
write the Return Goods Authorization Number on the outside
of the package. Any product received without a Return Goods
Authorization Number will be subject to a 2-week delay. If the
problem is covered by the warranty, Ossur will promptly repair
the brace and return it to you. If we determine that the problem
is not covered by the warranty, Ossur will so advise you and
offer to remedy the problem, if possible, by providing you with
an estimate of costs for parts and labor. Repairs authorized by
the original purchaser will be made and the brace returned with
costs billed either COD or to a credit card. You must pay any
charges due upon receipt of the repaired brace. If repairs are not
authorized by the original purchaser, Ossur will return the brace
to you in the same condition as it was received. This warranty
gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights
which vary from state to state.
