In ŠKODA Octavia cars, dismantle:
- the rear bumper,
- rear combined lamps,
- the left panel of the C-pillar,
- subwoofer, if included in the equipment of the car.
Release and divert the side lining of the trunk.

In ŠKODA Octavia Combi cars, dismantle:
- the rear bumper,
- rear combined lamps,
- the left panel of the D-pillar,
- intermediate floor, if included in the equipment of the car.
Release and divert the side lining of the trunk.
Caution. Be especially careful when dismantling the rear bumper to
avoid damaging it.

- Layout scheme of individual parts of the rear parking assistance set in the vehicle.
- 3, 4, 5 -
Holes ø 3 mm, ø 8 mm
- The centres of the future holes for the parking sensors are premoulded on the bumper from
the production (circle with cross) -detail-.
- Drill a 3 mm diameter hole in the marked spot. Then re-drill the hole to 8 mm diameter.
Prepare all 4 holes in the above described manner.

Holes ø 18 mm
- Use the BEA 000 001 punching tool (or a step drill) to punch the holes (of 18 mm dia.) into
the bumper.
Advice. When using the step drill, drill first the holes from the outer
side of the bumper. Finish the holes from the inner side.
Remove possible burrs at the holes and clean the holes.

Placing the parking sensors
- Observe the layout of the parking sensors according to their colour: outside ones - blue;
inside ones - black.
Advice. The sensors must not get mixed up.
