Checking the air outlet (6) and motor air (6.1) filters
Remove the water container from its seating and with the help
of a thin object (e.g. a coin), press inside the slit on the appli-
ance, removing the lid (5) at the same time.
Check the filter and if necessary, rinse it with running water;
leave it to dry and refit it.
Replace the lid, pressing it until it clicks into place.
Repeat these steps for the other filter.
Connector (3), filter (18) and sponge (20)
Remove the water container from its seating and remove the
lid using the two rear connections, following the instructions
given in section 1.4.
Remove the connector (3) by pulling it upwards.
Take the filter (18) out from inside the tank, removing it from
its grille. If necessary, rinse the filter with running water; leave
it to dry and then refit it.
Split the connector (3) into its four parts and clean each piece
thoroughly.
CAUTION: When splitting the connector into parts,
take great care not to damage it in any way.
To reassemble, fit all parts together, inserting the tabs in the
relevant slots.
Remove the sponge (20) from its housing in the appliance
body; wash it with soap and water and leave it to dry.
CAUTION: Do not allow anything to fall accidentally
into the sponge housing; this could adversely affect
appliance operation.
