NOTE:
The stripping of the power cable must be such as
to prevent single-insulated conductors from coming into
contact with the surrounding metal parts. The grounding
conductor must be 50mm longer than the power supply
conductors.
The appliance is delivered with the required voltage indicated on
the plate (Fig. 2).
The connection cable must be supplied by the installer.
For the installation of the power cable:
1. Open the terminal box using a screwdriver as a lever on the side
tabs of the cover: pull and open the cover (Fig. 7).
2. Install the power supply cable: unscrew the screw of the cable
clamp and the three screws of the L-N contacts and then fix the
cables under the heads of the screws by following the colours Blue
(N) Brown (L) Yellow-Green (Fig. 7).
3. Secure the cable in the appropriate cable clamp.
4. Close the terminal box cover.
To connect to the power supply, a plug standardized to the
Standards in force must be installed at the end of the cable.
In addition, these appliances must be included in the circuit of the
equipotential system, the terminal box provided for this purpose
is located on the back of the appliance with the TERMINAL BOX
FOR EQUIPOTENTIAL CONNECTION symbol.
When connection has been completed, check that the supply
voltage, with the appliance running, does not differ from the rated
value by more than ± 5%.
CAUTION!
The flexible wire for connection to the
power supply must have characteristics at least equal to the
model with rubber insulation H05RN-F and must have a rated
section suited to the maximum absorption (see technical data,
TAB. 1).
