INTRODUCTION
Congratulations! You're the proud new owner of a Mr. Coffee
Machine. Soon you'll be brewing real espresso drinks just like the coffee shop.
Now, let's get started.
UNPACK YOUR ESPRESSO MACHINE
1. Remove the machine from the box.
Remove all plastic bags and tape holding items in place.

Remove and save literature for future reference.

Untwist the tie holding the power cord.

5. There may be a few water drops in the reservoir. This is normal; we test each unit
with filtered water.
BEFORE FIRST USE, CLEAN AND PRIME YOUR MACHINE
Cleaning and priming your Mr. Coffee
is a critical process. Please follow these simple steps before brewing coffee for
consumption:

1. Clean all removable parts with warm soapy water
(CAUTION: Do not immerse cord, plug or appliance in water or
other liquids.)
2. Place machine on a flat, level surface. Put an empty filter in the
soft-close filter drawer and slide the whole enclosure into the machine.
3. Fill the water reservoir with filtered water. Do not exceed the
"Max" mark.
4. Plug in your machine. Make sure the Ready light is on.
5. Hold a cup with 1/3 water under the frothing wand and submerge.
6. Turn the knob to Steam for 10 seconds and then back to Stop.
Discard water in sink.
7. Place a cup on the drip tray. Hint: Flip the drip tray over to
accommodate a larger cup.
8. Turn the side knob to Brew.
9. When your cup is full, turn the side knob back to Stop.
NOTE: Please note that noise during brewing or steaming is normal
due to the 15-bar Italian pump that is inside the machine.
