IndIcatIons for Use

For the conversion of Luzzani MiniMate (L-3) and
Luzzani Minimatic (L-2) Air/Water Syringes, to
adapt the syringe for the use of Sani-Tip
disposable syringe tips.
WarnIngs
• Sani-Tip Conversion Kits are designed to function exclusively with Sani-Tip
®
tips. To minimize physical harm to patient, or equipment damage and/or malfunction, use only
adapter components and clear Sani-Tip plastic syringe tips manufactured by DENTSPLY
Professional for the Sani-Tip
• Sani-Tip disposable syringe tips are for single use only. Dispose after use.

• It is the responsibility of the Dental Healthcare Professionals (DHCP) to determine the appropriate
uses of this product and to understand the health of each patient, the dental procedures being
undertaken, and industry and governmental agency recommendations, requirements, and
regulations for safe practice of dentistry.
• To ensure adequate protection from cross contamination from other devices connected to the
Dental Unit, it is highly recommended that the Dental Unit be installed with anti-retraction features.
Additionally, the Dental Unit, including the anti-retraction features, must be properly maintained and
periodically tested. For more information, please contact your Dental Unit manufacturer.
• Where asepsis is required or deemed appropriate in the best professional judgement of the DHCP,
this product should not be used.
PrecaUtIons
• Although this conversion kit may be used with all Sani-Tip disposable syringe tips, it is recommended
for use with the mini (57 mm) Sani-Tip disposable syringe tips.
• To help reduce cross contamination, use a new Sani-Shield disposable air/water syringe sleeve, in
addition to a new Sani-Tip disposable tip, for every patient.
