- Never direct the air stream at people or animals (fig. 26).
- Do not carry the compressor with the pressurized (loaded) tank.
- Be aware that some parts of the compressor such as head and
supply tubes can reach high temperatures. To prevent burns, do
not touch these components (fig. 13 - 14).
- Carry the compressor by lifting or pulling the handles (fig. 4 - 6).
- Keep children and animals away from the operating area of the
machine.
- If the compressor is used for varnishing:
a) Do not work indoors or near open flames.
b) Make sure that the environment in which you work is equipped
with adequate air circulation.
c) Wear a mask to protect your nose and mouth (fig. 27).
- If the power cord or plug is damaged, do not use the
compressor and contact an authorized service center to replace
them with original components.
- If placed on a shelf or on a surface higher than the floor, the
compressor must be secured to prevent a possible fall during
operation.
- In order to avoid damaging people, objects or animals, do not use the compressor as a
blunt object.
- After using the compressor, always disconnect the plug from the socket.
88
- Do not place objects nor your
hands inside the protective grid to
prevent physical injuries and
damage to the compressor (fig. 28).
FOR PROPER OPERATION
- For proper operation of the machine at maximum continuous load and maximum working
pressure, make sure that the temperature in a closed working environment does not exceed
+25 ºC.
- It is recommended to use the compressor with a maximum capacity of 70 % for one hour at
maximum load; this allows the machine to function properly over time.
STORING OF PACKED AND UNPACKED COMPRESSOR
When the compressor is not in use, it must be stored in a dry place with a temperature
between +5 °C and +45 °C and in a position that avoids contact with the action of
atmospheric elements before unpacking. During the entire period that the compressor
remains inactive after being unpacked, while waiting to be put into operation or due to
production interruptions, it must be protected with tarpaulins to prevent dust from depositing
on the mechanisms. If the compressor remains inactive for a long period of time, it is
necessary to change the oil and check its operation.
PNEUMATIC CONNECTIONS
Always use pneumatic tubes for compressed air with maximum pressure
characteristics appropriate to the compressor. Do not attempt to repair the tube if it
is defective.
The supplier reserves the right to make any changes without prior notice if
necessary.
