DETAILED SAFETY REGULATIONS
• Use the belt sander for sanding only.
• Do not use the belt sander when it is held in fixed position, by
moving processed material.
• Inhalation of dust, such as lead based, metal or of certain wood
species (e.g. oak), is dangerous to your health. Therefore it is
necessary to always work with device for dust extraction.
• Do not use the sander for materials that contain asbestos.
• Wear protective half mask and anti-splinter goggles when
sanding.
• Use of earmuffs is recommended.
• Fix processed material to prevent it from slipping. You can fix the
material e.g. using a vice.
• Use sanding belts of recommended size only.
• Before starting to replace sanding belt, disconnect the sander
from power supply by removing power cord plug from mains
socket.
• During operation, move the sander when holding it firmly with
both hands.
• Always follow instructions contained in general and detailed
safety regulations for using hand-held power tools.
CAUTION! This device is designed to operate indoors.
The design is assumed to be safe, protection measures and
additional safety systems are used, nevertheless there is always a
small risk of operational injuries.
CONSTRUCTION AND USE
Belt sander is a power tool driven by a single-phase commutator
motor. The sander does not require earth lead (insulation class II).
Belt sander is designed for surface sanding of wood products,
polishing wood surfaces with lacquer coating, fine polishing of
lacquered metal surfaces, removal of rust or specks of lacquer before
applying new lacquer, finishing of concrete surfaces etc. Range of
use covers repair and building works, woodworking and any work
from the scope of individual, amateur activities (tinkering).
Use the power tool according to the manufacturer's instructions
only.

PREPARATION FOR OPERATION
DUST EXTRACTION
Equipment of belt sander includes dust bag that helps to maintain
the processed surface clean. The dust bag can be installed on the
dust outlet (3) (fig. A).
Empty the dust bag regularly, it will ensure efficient operation of the
sander. It is recommended to empty the dust bag when it is half full.
• Slide the dust bag onto the dust outlet (3) to install it.
• Pull the dust bag gently to check if it is well fixed.
• Deinstallation of the dust bag is similar to installation, only the
sequence of actions is reversed.
INSTALLATION OF SANDING BELT
Prior to sanding belt installation ensure the switch is in the off
position and that power cord is disconnected from mains network.
• Move the sanding belt tension lever (11) to the end in the
direction shown by the arrow (fig. B).
• Put sanding belt on rollers (fig. C).
• Move the sanding belt tension lever (11) to its original position
(fig. D).
Ensure the direction of the arrow located on the sanding paper
back surface matches direction of the arrow located on the belt
sander body.
ADDITIONAL HANDLE
Additional handle (1) makes it easier to hold the sander safely and
guide it when sanding.
It is possible to set the additional handle to a position comfortable
for the work being performed.
• Pull away the locking lever for additional handle (13).
• Set the additional handle (1) to desired position (fig. J).
• Press in the locking lever for additional handle (13).
OPERATION / SETTINGS
SWITCHING ON / SWITCHING OFF
Before connecting the belt sander to a power supply network,
always check that power supply voltage matches rated voltage
shown on the rating plate that is fixed to the power tool, and that
switch is in the off position.
During operation hold the sander firmly with both hands. Switch
on the belt sander only when it is lifted above the material that
you plan to process.
Switching on – press the switch button (8) and hold in this position.
Switching off – release pressure on the switch button (8).
Locking the switch (continuous operation)
Switching on:
• Press the switch button (8) and hold in this position.
• Press the switch lock button (9) (fig. E).
• Release pressure on the switch (8).
