6 - MECHANICAL CHARACTERISTICS

6.1 – Conformity with Mechanical Standards
Both THREE and SINGLE-PHASE alternating current motors are
manufactured in compliance with the following standards: UNEL 13113,
13117, 13118/71, international IEC 72 – French NCF51 – German DIN 42673
– British BS 3979.
7 - INSULATION CLASS
All the motors in the catalogue are designed according to insulation system of
class "F" and to operate at overheating corresponding to class "B"; windings
are tropicalized by impregnation with special paints at 200°C. Therefore the
whole range of motors is supplied in the standard version which is routinely
"tropicalized".
8 – PROTECTION INDEX
IP 55 is the standard protection of the regular motor range. Different degrees
of protection are available on request.
