GARDEN PUMP
CAUTION: BEFORE USING THE POWER TOOL READ THIS MANUAL
CAREFULLY AND KEEP IT FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
DETAILED SAFETY REGULATIONS
DETAILED REGULATIONS APPLYING TO WATER PUMP
Connection to mains network should be made by certified electrician
in accordance with local regulations in force, e.g. IEC 364.
Before connecting the tool to mains network always make sure the
supply voltage matches the rated voltage on the rating plate.
Connect the tool only to electrical system equipped with residual
current circuit breaker that will cut the power off in less than 30
ms when earth leakage current exceeds 30 mA or through a safety
transformer.
WARNING . Do not direct the pump water stream onto people,
electric equipment and the device itself.
Do not use the pump when there are people in the water.
Connect the tool only with appropriate power cord, designed for
outdoor use.
In case of power cord damage immediately disconnect power
supply. DO NOT TOUCH POWER CORD BEFORE DISCONNECTING
FROM THE POWER SUPPLY.
Do not allow children and persons not familiarized with instruction
manual to operate the water pump.
Do not pull or hold the pump by its power cord or water hose.
To ensure safe operation use only spare parts that are original or
approved by the manufacturer.
Do not use the pump in case of failure of power cord or other
important part of the device or installation, e.g. residual current
circuit breaker, water hose.
The pump is designed for household use. It can be used indoors
and outdoors.
Disconnect the pump from power supply when performing
maintenance tasks.
REMEMBER . Operator or user is responsible for any accident or
emerging hazards to other persons or surrounding.
CONSTRUCTION AND USE
The garden pump is driven with single phase induction motor.
Devices of this type are commonly used for watering and irrigation of
lawns, vegetable beds in house gardens and allotments. The garden
pump can be used for pumping underground or rain water, or water
from swimming pools. When filter is installed, the pump also allows for
pumping water from ponds, brooks, water reservoirs and wells. Maximum
temperature of pumped water cannot exceed +35°C during operation.
The garden pump can operate with various types of lawn sprinklers.
Do not use the garden pump to pump drinking water.
Do not use the device to pump flammable, explosive or gaseous
media (e.g. petrol, kerosene, nitro solvent). Do not pump
aggresive or caustic liquids (acids, lyes, saltwater etc.) or liquids
with corrosive materials (e.g. sand).
Do not allow dry operation of pump or working with closed
delivery side.
