READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE OPERATING
EQUIPMENT
Using the equipment in a manner contrary to the information in this manual
may result in the improper operation of the machine, resulting not only in
damage to the equipment, which is not covered by the warranty, but also
inaccidents that could endanger the health of the operator.

1. INTRODUCTION

This operator's manual contains important information about the features and
technical specifications of the equipment, plus instructions for the initial assembly,
operation, maintenance and safety of the Guarany Big Sucker (Siphon &
Discharge Pump).
This machine combines the traditional qualities of Guarany equipment with the
latest design operation and ergonomic solutions. You will be surprised by the ease
of application, its versatility and durability, all of which result in a great investment
for your home, boat, workshop or business.
Keep this manual on hand and consult it whenever there is doubt as to the
operation of the equipment, or when you need to purchase a replacement part.

Results obtained in conditions of relative humidity of 55% ± 5% and a temperature of 25°C
± 2°C, and may vary depending on the number of pump strokes, liquid level in the tank
and the liquid temperature.
(*) Mean values obtained with water after 40 full strokes of the pump (full stroke) and with
empty tank and may vary due to the number of strokes of the product pump used and its
temperature.
(**) Mean values obtained with water after 40 full strokes of the pump and with tank half
full to working capacity.

4. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

ATTENTION
Use according to the instructions recommended for this equipment, as well as any
warnings and instruction on the product label and instructions on the chemical. In
this manner, suction and/or discharge may be performed with minimal risk of
contamination to the environment or operator.
Always use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when handling hazardous
chemicals with this pump.
Read the label and packing instructions of the chemical to be used, checking to see
if the recommendations for the PPE are different from that specified herein, and
checking for any other forms of protection needed during handling of the product.
The equipment should be used by persons in good physical condition and who are
aware of the rules of use as described in this manual.
Keep children, animals and unauthorised persons away from the work area.
Do not use or permit the use of this equipment by people under 18 years, pregnant
women, anyone who appears not to be in good health or with noticeable fatigue,
and anyone under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.
The safety pressure valve and the relief valve lock for the tank are fundamental
devices of this equipment. So do not remove, damage or by-pass the function of
these components. If these safety devices suffer damage or have been removed,
do not use the equipment; contact our representative or service agent on how to
proceed with the replacement of parts. The equipment should be operated only
after the parts have been correctly replaced
The operation of the equipment with the above mentioned safety devices missing,
damaged or modified, may cause serious injury including cuts and/or burns to
users
Do not carry out maintenance when the equipment is full or still contains chemical
residues. Remove the contents and clean the equipment before carrying out any
maintenance work.
Do not operate equipment that has been badly repaired, incorrectly assembled or
with irregular modifications.
