6.1 PRECAUTIONS DURING OPERATION

!
ATTENTION
Do not smoke, eat or drink while filling the tank with chemicals and/or during
operation (suction or discharge).
a) When working with toxic liquids, keep children, pets and onlookers away from
the work area.
b) Never fill the tank beyond its maximum capacity (6 litres), which is clearly
indicated; in the event of chemical spillage on the tank or on the ground, wipe it up
immediately, avoiding any contamination.
c) Check for the presence of any leaks. If any are found, do not use the equipment
until the problem is solved.
d) Only use the unit in an upright position ("standing up");
e) TEST that the equipment is switched to the suction function before submerging
the tube in the liquid to begin siphoning. This precaution is necessary because if
!
the pressurised tank is without any liquid in the discharge function, actuating the
pump and squeezing the trigger control, will cause air to be expelled into the
target liquid which may cause splashing that could result in possible accidents, for
example, contamination and /or burns.
f) Do not transport, leave or store the equipment while still pressurized.
g) Empty the tank after use and when using authorized flammable liquids, keep
the tank nozzle without the pump/cylinder.
h) Never carry the equipment by holding the pump handle without first locking it
into the tank, as this can damage the pump. Before depressurizing the tank and for
any transport operation, lock in the handle of the pump, according to Figure 5.
Do not transport!
With handle
unlocked.

6.2 SUCTION
To activate the SIPHON function, first make sure that the pump (B) is well
threaded into the tank and that the safety pressure relief valve is in the closed
position (Figure 6 A, ensuring the sealing of the pressure chamber).
