Allocating Heating Zones
1. Press the Set button of the wireless connection unit
for three seconds to start the configuration mode.
2. Once the heating zone 1 LED starts flashing rapidly,
let go of the button. For the next three minutes, the
selected heating zone is ready to receive the thermo-
stat signal from the thermostat to which it will be as-
signed.
3. For this, press the set button on the corresponding
Wireless Thermostat from the intended place of instal-
lation, as shown in the picture on the right.
4. Once the wireless thermostat is assigned, the learn-
ing mode ends and the LED indicator of the heating
zone stops flashing.
After the assignment, the corresponding heating zone
is triggered for one minute. The LED of the heating
zone lights up.
Press the Set button of the Basis Wireless unit again for
three seconds in order to assign further heating zones.
The LED of heating zone 1 will flash rapidly. Change to
heating zone 2 by pressing the Set button again. This
procedure allows the selection of the desired heating
zone by repeatedly pressing of the button. Then, as ex-
plained before, perform the assignment of the wireless
thermostats to all heating zones, consecutively.
An assigned heating zone can always be overwritten by
re-performing the above procedure.

Functional Tests
Testing the radio transmission
The radio transmission should always be tested from
the planned installation site of the wireless thermo-
stat. Please observe the note on passive interference.
If the Set button of the wireless thermostat is pressed
while the connection unit is not in configuration mode,
the assigned heating zone (actuators) is switched on
for 1 minute. If the Set button is pressed again within
one minute, the heating zone is shut off again. The
heating output of the heating zone is toggled with
the set button at the thermostat.
If the Wireless Thermostat cannot be assigned or if the
assigned heating zone cannot be switched during the
Wireless test, the reception conditions for the connec-
tion unit are insufficient.
The radio connection can be verified with the Wire-
less Inspector. An external receiver can be supplied
optionally.
