5. Carefully close the lid of the device, ensuring that no
components are trapped and that the lid engages
correctly.
Inserting the battery pack/rechargeable
battery pack
Use only battery packs (WM 40155)/rechargeable battery
packs (WM 40150) from Weinmann.
1. Push the battery pack/rechargeable battery pack firm-
ly into the compartment on the rear of the device until
it engages audibly.
2. Open the lid of the MEDUCORE Easy. The device per-
forms a self-test and starts outputting audio response
messages.
3. When the green status indicator on the front of the
device stays on continuously, the device has success-
fully completed the self-test. Now close the lid of the
MEDUCORE Easy. The device is ready for operation.
