USE
Attach the measuring tips, screwing into the ends of the poles.
Push button operation:
To switch on, press the push button in until the SOFAMEL logo
appears on the screen. (See 1)
Short press = Move (between "exit" of the mode or "turn off" the
detector). (See 2)
Long press = Accept (exit of current mode or turn off).

1. Measuring mode:
The measurement mode offers us the possibility of checking for voltage and
measuring it with a minimum precision at full scale ± 0.2%.
2. Phase Checker Mode:
Phase Checker mode can identify whether or not the cables touched with the poles
belong to the same phase. The phase check range is 1.5 kV to 6 kV.
When it is the same phase, the detector emits a fixed green light signal, at the
same time that it shows the "V" symbol on the screen. (See 3)
In the case that we are touching two cables of different phases, the detector will
emit red light signals and acoustic, intermittent, while the screen will show the
symbol "X". (See 4)
After two minutes of absence of voltage, the detector will turn off, remaining in
standby mode. Consumption in this mode is only 1µA.
MAINTENANCE
In case of strange operating, contact SOFAMEL, S.L.
Do not manipulate the device because can affect the correct operating and the loose of the guarantee. After each use, keep the pole
and detector inside its transport bag.
Even if it is stored, the voltage detector should be checked and calibrated by the manufacturer after a maximum of 6 years.
BATTERY CHANGE
To change the battery, a screwdriver is required.
Unscrew the four screws on the back cover.
Replace the battery.
