Functions and operation of the TX2 training computer
For your safety
• In order to avoid injury due to stress or overload, the training unit may only be used as directed.
• Before first use and also after approx. 6 days of operation, the connections must be checked for tightness.
• Verify the operability and proper condition of the training unit at regular intervals.
• Safety inspections count among the operator's obligations and must be performed correctly and at regular intervals.
• The level of safety of the unit can only be ensured under the condition that it is regularly checked for damage and wear.
• Defect or damaged components must be replaced immediately. Only qualified persons may make modifications to the electrical
components. Only use original KETTLER replacement parts.
• The unit may not be used until corrective maintenance is complete.
• Before commencing training, check with your physician to make sure you are in fit health for training with
this unit. The medical results should be the basis for the configuration of your training programme. Incorrect
or excessive training can damage your health.
• The treadmill may only be used for its intended purpose, i.e. for running and walking training by adults.
• Fasten the cord of the safety switch to your clothing. Adjust the cord length: the switch should be triggered if you "stumble".
• For the first training units, familiarise yourself with the exercise sequences at low speed.
• Before commencing training, stand on the two side platforms, ready to run.
• If you ever feel uncertain, hold firmly onto the handrails and leave the belt by standing on the side platforms and pull out the safety key.
• Pulling out the safety key immediately switches off the belt operation and height adjustment!
• Unsupervised use of the treadmill by third parties can be prevented by removing and safekeeping the safety key. Always keep the
safety key in a safe place and prevent children from getting to the key!
• Important: Also observe the safety notes given in the assembly instructions.
