GB
Have the device repaired solely by authorised personnel. It is prohibited to make any design modifications of the tool.
Do not use the tool, if any damage or worn elements are detected.
In order to limit the risk of fire, keep the engine and the exhaustion system clean. Particularly they should be free of any residue,
waste, oils and lubricants.
Before work get acquainted with the instructions of quick deactivation of the machine in case of emergency.
Pay attention to the surroundings during work. Certain dangers may not be heard due to the noise emitted by the machine.
All the ventilation openings must be clean and not obstructed.
The surroundings of the pump must be clean, so as to prevent obstruction of the inlet suction channels. The filter of the pump
should be placed at the minimum distance of 0.3 m from the surface of water and 1.2 m from the bottom of the water tank. During
operation of the pump the filter must be always submerged in water.
Carry the pump holding it by the frame. It is prohibited to carry the pump holding it by other elements.
During operation the pump must be placed on a hard and even surface.
Do not ever direct the stream of water towards electric installations.
OPERATION OF THE PUMP
Preparation of the pump for work
Before work make sure all the water connections are tight. In case leakage is detected, seal the connections before work is com-
menced, and dry any leaked water.
Make sure the fuel installation is not leaking. In case leakage is detected, have the pump repaired in an authorised repair shop. It
is prohibited to start the pump if the fuel installation is damaged.
Check the screwed connections and tighten any loose connections.
Check the level of the engine oil in the tank.
Attention! The pump is supplied without engine oil. The tank contains only a minimum quantity for the purpose of transport and
storage of the pump. Before the pump is started for the first time, it is required to fill the tank with engine oil, in accordance with
the procedure described below.
Connection of water inlet and outlet hoses
The pump is equipped with two connections with pipe threads whose diameter is indicated in the table. The upper connection is
the water outlet and the lower connection is the inlet. Connect hoses to both the connections using tube couplings which ensure
a complete tightness. Hoses may be connected with the supplied stub pipes and clamps. Pass the stub tube through the nut (II)
and put the gasket (III). Screw the whole unit to the connection of the pump (IV), so as to ensure tightness of the connection. Do
not overtighten so that the gasket is not damaged. Place band clips on the hose, connect the hose to the stub pipe and protect it
with a band clip. Install a filter in the same manner at the other extreme of the water inlet hose.
Attention! The filter should be completely submerged under the surface of water.
Attention! Never use hoses which do not keep the shape as water inlet hoses. This might obstruct the water supply to the pump.
After the connection is made and before the pump is starter, the chamber of the pump must be filled with water. This is done
through the valve at the top of the pump (V). Open it and pour water until it completely fills the chamber of the pump. Once the
pump has been filled, close the inlet valve tightly.
Attention! The pump has not been designed for dry operation. In case of dry operation the pump may get irreversibly damaged. In
such a case the user looses the guarantee rights. The level of water in the chamber of the pump must be revised each time before
the pump is started, even if the water system has not been dismounted.
Refilling the engine oil
Remove the plug and take out the oil level indicator (VI). Clean and dry the indicator using a clean cloth. Insert the indicator in the
filler without turning it. Then take it out and read the oil level. If the level is to low refill the oil to the upper mark of the indicator.
Turn the indicator into the filler tightly.
Attention! It is recommended to use a high quality oil of the viscosity indicated in the table.
Refuelling
Use unleaded petrol of octane number 93. Refuelling must be carried out away from sources of fire. Do not smoke during refuel-
ling. Refuelling must be carried out minimum three meters from the place where the device is started and operated. In order to
protect the engine it is recommended to use a high quality unleaded petrol. In case the fuel is spilled, it must be thoroughly wiped
out before the device is started.
Open the cover of the fuel tank filler (VII). Refuel. Do not exceed the level of the mesh section of the fuel filter (VIII). Close the
filler cap tightly.
Starting the engine
ATTENTION! The pump is not equipped with an additional switch and it starts immediately when the engine is started. Before the
engine is started, the pump must be prepared for operation.
