5.2) Purging air bubbles from the internal hydraulic circuit
The operations of connecting and disconnecting the flexible hose and hydraulic heads
could cause air bubbles to form in the hydraulic circuit over time, adversely affecting the
7
performance of the pump.
6
To purge air bubbles from the circuit proceed as follows:
1
– Connect the hose and the hydraulic head to the pump.
– Place the hydraulic head onto a flat surface, keeping it in a vertical position.
– Leave the pump in inclined position (see Fig. 8) at a height approximately 1,5 m (4.9 ft)
8
higher than the head.
– Operate push button until the pressure switch intervenes.
– Completely discharge the oil pressure pushing the release button.
– Repeat at least 3-4 times to ensure all bubbles collect in the upper part of the reservoir.
– Check the oil level, topping up if necessary (see § 5.1).

Charge the battery (see § 3.5)
Connect plug correctly and
secure with the locking bezel
(see § 3.1).
Check the quick couplers for
correct connection (see § 3.1).
Top up the oil reservoir
(see § 5.1).
Purge air bubbles in the internal
hydraulic circuit
(see § 5.2).

Allow the pump to rest and wait un-
til the motor has cooled down.
Connect the flexible hose to
the pump keeping the release
button pushed.
