Adjustment of idling (XIV)
Carburetor adjustment may be done in a specialized repair shop.
Adjustment of the idle speed must be carried out when the engine is warm.
If the engine shuts off when idling you should adjust the idle. To do this, adjust the position of the idle adjustment screw so that
the engine ran smoothly and without interruption on the idle speed and the blades stop when you release the pressure on throttle
buttons.
Shear storage
Proper maintenance before storage will allow for long trouble-free operation of shear.
Perform maintenance of the blades.
Drain the tank with fuel, by means, for example, of a plastic fuel pump that is commercially available.
Start the engine and let it idle until it shuts down. This will clean the carburetor of remaining fuel.
Allow to cool down the engine.
Remove the spark plug. Through the opening pour one teaspoon of oil for two-stroke engines. Several times, carefully draw
starter line, it will distribute the oil in combustion chamber. Install the spark plug.
Clean the housing.
Shear should be stored in a cool, dry place with good ventilation, away from sources of ignition.
Shear restart
Remove the spark plug, several times carefully draw for the starter line, it will allow to clean the combustion chamber from oil
residues. Add fuel to the tank. Proceed to starting the engine procedure.
