After the fastening dries, screw a lifting eye to the threaded rod and proceed with a
traction test (500 daN over 15 seconds) and remove the lifting eye
Or implement the selected test method.
Install the anchoring and block it using the nuts provided.
If there was a fall or mechanical overload
- the anchoring must be replaced
- the resistance of the fastening point must be confirmed: screw a lifting eye on
the threaded rod and proceed with a traction test (1000daN over 1 minute) and
remove the lifting eye
Install a new anchoring and block it using a prevailing-torque nut.
2-6 INSTALLATION OF SÖLL MAXIBILLE (1009521)
2-6.1 FIXING OF THE ANCHORING DEVICE ON A STEEL SUPPORT
•
Screw with 1 H M20 A2 nut + 1 PAL M20 stainless steel A4 safety nut (see
fig.5.1)
2-6.2 FIXING OF THE ANCHORING DEVICE ON A CONCRETE SUPPORT
fig.6)
•
The plate is intended to be fastened with an HVU M16x125 high performance
chemical capsule
Choose a sound concrete support with a minimum strength of 23 MPa [3300
p.s.i.]
Drill a hole with a suitable masonry drill, A 22 mm, depth 105 mm.
The hole must be fully cleaned of dust in order to guarantee proper adhesion of the
chemical sealant.
The anchorage must not be less than 163 mm from the edge of the concrete
support
The anchorage must not be less than 125 mm from any other anchorage. Insert
the resin or chemical plug, suitable for the concrete, in the hole.
Screw in the threaded rod with the aid of a power drill an that the chemical
compound is thoroughly mixed. Leave the resin to dry for at least an hour (see
drying times) before handling it.
Install the Söll MAXIBILLE anchoring and block it using the tools available under
reference 1009484.
If there was a fall or mechanical overload
- the anchoring

2-6.3 USE OF THE SÖLL MAXIBILLE ANCHORING
Insert the pin ref. 1009516 into the socket ref. 1009518 by pulling on the
central axis (unblocking the bearings). Check the safety interlocking by
pulling on the pin (loosen the central lock pin).
