To switch on the unit, press the on/off button on the control panel. Each operation on the control panel
is accompanied by an acoustic signal. The fan heater is activated with the following standard settings:
low heating level (1300W), target temperature 25°C, activated fireplace simulation.

The brightness of the LED display is reduced by 1/3 during operation if no adjustment is made after one
minute. The brightness is increased again as soon as any key is pressed.
•
Fireplace simulation
To switch the fireplace simulation on or off, press the corresponding key on the control panel.
o
The corresponding indicating light lights up or goes out. The fireplace simulation can be used
independently of the fan heater and also in standby mode.
•
Heating level
You may select from two heating levels using the corresponding button on the control panel:

low heating level (1300W)
▪
high heating level (2000W)
The corresponding indicating light lights up.
•
Oscillation
To turn the 80° oscillation on or off, please press the corresponding button on the control
o
panel. The corresponding indicating light lights up or goes out.

Timer
Use the timer to set the time after which the unit shall switch off automatically. You may set the
o
time between 0 and 24 hours. If 0 hours are chosen, the timer is deactivated.
Press the "+" or "-" keys to increase or decrease the number of hours by one hour each. If you
o
hold down the respective button, you can choose between the hours faster.
Once you have selected your desired time, please wait for five seconds. During this time the
o
number flashes and is then saved. The display now alternately shows the target temperature
and the remaining time in an interval of 30 seconds.
If you want to change the set time, press the "+" or "-" buttons again, then wait for five seconds.
o
When the time is over, the appliance enters the standby mode.

Thermostat
The thermostat allows you to set a target temperature between 15°C and 35°C. As soon as the
o
room temperature reaches the target temperature, the fan heater switches off and is only
switched on again when the room temperature is below the set target temperature.
Please use the "+" and "-" keys to increase or decrease the target temperature by one °C each.
o
If you hold down the respective button, you can choose between the temperatures faster.
Once you have selected your desired target temperature, please wait for five seconds. During
o
this time the number flashes and is then saved. The display now shows your target temperature.
If you want to change the target temperature, press the "+" or "-" buttons again, then wait for
o
five seconds.
Notes:

In the first ten seconds of operaton, the room temperature and target temperature
cannot be compared. If the room temperature is equal to or higher than the target
temperature after the ten seconds, the fan heater and the heat level indicator lights
switch off. The fan heater switches on again as soon as the target temperature is higher
than the room temperature.

If the NTC within the appliance has a short circuit, the LED display shows "EE" and the
temperature cannot be set. In this case, please contact your point of sale.
▪
If the room temperature is below -10°C, the LED display shows "LO". If the room
temperature is above 40°C, the LED display shows "HI". These displays serve as
indicators for the very cold or very warm room temperature.

Eco mode
In Eco mode, the target temperature is set to 22°C and the heating level is automatically
o
adjusted according to the room temperature. To switch on or off, please press the corresponding
key on the control panel. The corresponding indicating light lights up or goes out.
The heating level is automatically adjusted in Eco mode as follows:

Room temperature under 18°C: high heating level
▪
Room temperature between 18°C and 22°C: low heating level
▪
Room temperature over 22°C: no heating level (fan heater is turned off)
In Eco mode, all settings, except for heating level and target temperature, can still be made.

Tip-over protection
The unit is equipped with a tip-over protection. If the unit tips over or is tilted too far, the unit
o
switches off automatically. The appliance switches on again as soon as it is in an upright position
again.

Overheating protection
The overheating protection switches the unit off automatically in the event of overheating.
