Reactivation
The reactivation mode is activated by pressing button ( C ) when the LED (4) starts
blinking. The reactivation mode doesn't start when Service-Operation mode or 6 V
mode is selected. In the end of the reactivation (ca. 4h) the unit turns automatically
to the float current mode. The LED (1) will light.
Caution: This operation must only be done with battery out of the vehicle since
the output voltage will be 15.6 V. This voltage can damage the internal equip-
ments of the vehicle. Lead-GEL or AGM Batteries are not permitted in this
mode. This operation is defined for deep discharged Lead-Acid Batteries. Do
not use any kind of damaged battery in this mode.
In this mode the units starts with a reduced current during a limited time while the
voltage will increase progressively. The acid will be re-arranged in the battery and
partly dissipated in the surface. This mode increase the life time of the battery.
Please note that In this phase explosive gases will be produced in the battery
therefore all safety procedures should take place. At the end of the reactivation
the acid level must be controlled and additional distilled water should be
added to complete its correct level. Turn off this mode of operation by pressing
button (A) or (B) because it is not automatically done. If the clamps are discon-
nected from the battery without switching this mode off, the output voltage
will be still active and will lead to dangerous situations e.g. connecting the
cable in the reverse position to other battery will damage the unit.

The quality of output voltage and current of a charger is very important. Undesired
variations and ripples lead to warming up and to wear the positive terminal.
The battery charger is characterised by a very clean voltage and current.
