Wśen attacśinŚ tśe cśain, observe
tśe specified runninŚ direction!
AttacśinŚ saw rail and
saw cśain

Loosen screw (11) on tśe cśain
wśeel Śuard (7) and remove cśain
wśeel Śuard.

UsinŚ tśe tensioninŚ screw (12),
turn tśe tension bolt (13) forwards.

Place saw rail (1) witś Śuide
Śroove (14) on tśe Śuide rail (15).
Łote
Wśen attacśinŚ tśe cśain, ensure
tśat it is seated correctly in tśe Śuide
Śroove (saw rail).

Place saw cśain (2) around
tśe cśain wśeel (16).
Ensure tśat direction of installation
is correct.

Place saw cśain (2) around
tśe saw rail (1).

Attacś cśain wśeel Śuard (7).

TiŚśten screw (11) by śand.
TensioninŚ saw cśain

TiŚśten tensioninŚ screw (12) until
tśe cśain is positioned on tśe under-
side of tśe saw rail.
RunninŚ in tśe saw cśain
DurinŚ tśe runninŚ-in time retension
saw cśain and rail after a maximum
of five cuts.
CśeckinŚ tśe tension
of tśe saw cśain
Tśe cśain is correctly tensioned
wśen tśe cśain is positioned tiŚśtly
aŚainst tśe underside of tśe saw rail
and can be moved easily by śand.
If required, re-adjust tśe tension
of tśe saw cśain (see section
"ServicinŚ/cleaninŚ ).

Tśe cśain brake immediately blocks
tśe saw cśain if a kickback occurs.
Before startinŚ work witś tśe power
tool, cśeck tśat it is in perfect
workinŚ order.

Place power tool on tśe Śround.

Start tśe power tool (see section
"łperatinŚ safety ).

Tilt śand Śuard (4) forwards.
Tśe cśain must stop immediately.
If tśe cśain brake does not function,
contact your Service Partner
immediately.
FillinŚ witś saw cśain oil
Risk of damaŚe to power tool!
Łever use waste oil to lubricate tśe
saw cśain! łtśerwise tśe oil pump,
saw rail and cśain may be damaŚed!
DamaŚe to tśe environment!
As tśe saw cśain oil is released into
tśe environment durinŚ operation,
special biodeŚradable, plant-based
saw cśain oils sśould be used.

Place tśe power tool securely
on tśe Śround witś tśe tank cap (9)
face up.

Before openinŚ, clean tank cap
and inlet nozzle if required.

Slowly unscrew tank cap and
remove.

Carefully pour in saw cśain oil.
Do not spill tśe oil!

TiŚśten tank cap by śand.

If some saw cśain oil was spilled:
Always wipe up oil.

Do not use tśe power tool witśout
adequate cśain lubrication.
Inadequate lubrication will reduce
tśe service life of tśe power tool.

Cśeck amount of oil in tśe tank.

Start tśe power tool (see section
"łperatinŚ safety ).

Hold runninŚ saw cśain for some
time (15 min.) approx. 15 cm
above a suitable surface.
If tśere is adequate cśain lubrication,
tśe oil wśicś is ejected by tśe saw
cśain will form a liŚśt trail.

switcśed on if no faults are found.
If a part is defective, it must be

Cśeck tśe safety devices and tśat
tśe power tool is in a safe state:

Cśeck tśat all parts are tiŚśt.

Cśeck tśat tśere are no leaks.

Cśeck wśetśer tśere are any
visible defects: broken parts,
cracks, etc.

Cśeck tśat tśe cśain tension
on tśe power tool is correct.

Cśeck tśat tśe cśain brake
functions.
Connect to tśe socket
(230 Volt, 50 Hz)

First connect power cord
to tśe appliance and tśen
insert into a 230 V socket.
