4.4 Valves
Shut-off valve V 200
Easy to operate shut-off valve through turning 90° which clicks into position. The open/closed position is clearly
visible: Arrow on the handwheel parallel to gas line – valve open. Arrow on the handwheel at a right angle to the
gas line – valve closed.
Regulating valve V 50
Regulating valve to dose (max. 10 turns) the desired flow. Please note: only shut-off valves guarantee secure
closing of the gas flow.
4.5 accessories
For the design series 200, a comprehensive range of accessories such as tube fittings, hose nipples, contact pressure
gauges and flame arrestors can be supplied. For these, please contact the Linde service companies. It is essential
that assembly and installation instructions for these components are followed. Please ensure that undamaged
gaskets are used which have the correct dimensions, check that all threads are not damaged, check for leaks and
perfect functionality when assembly is completed. Please also pay attention to "connection" and "start-up".
5. Marking
On the nameplate (refer figure 2) there are:
the type description (type), the materials of the
regulator body/seat material/diaphragm seal (mat.),
the permissible nominal inlet pressure (p
instrument specific outlet pressure area (p
manufacturer and the month of manufacture,
a safety notice and the type of gas. The serial
number of the device is given as device specific
identification on a separate label in bar-code 128
and in plain text.
Caution! Only use equipment with an
application purpose which corresponds with the type of gas and operating pressures marked on the nameplate.
Otherwise there is danger of injury or danger to life and/or the danger of the fittings being damaged.
6. connection
Cylinder regulator
Danger! Thread on cylinder valve and swivel nut must not be at all damaged (refer to figure 3).
Warning! Only ever use new gaskets. Gaskets may not be deformed and must not show traces of dirt or metal
shavings.
Warning! Do not use any spanner extensions as otherwise the thread and the gasket could be damaged. This
can lead to leakage, uncontrolled release of gas or the whole supply of gas pouring out.
