ENDOSKELETAL TUBE INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Insert tube into tube clamp and secure by hand tightening the set screw. (Fig.1)
2.
Measure and cut to desired length.
3.
Using the provided 0.125" drill bit, drill through the hole in the center of the tube clamp and
through the tube itself. (Fig. 2)
4.
In the hole you've just created, fully insert the included SS roll pin. This will prevent the tube from
pulling out. (Fig. 3)
5.
Torque the set screw of the tube clamp to 5 N-m.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

1.
Create room for mounting plate on plaster cast and attach
2.
Pull check socket over cast and mounting plate
3.
Clean off mounting plate for use in attaching shoulder to socket
4.
Place mounting plate into recessed area of check socket
5.
Drill holes for mounting screws
6.
Attach shoulder joint to mounting plate using provided fasteners and torque to 1 N-m (9 in-lb)
7.
Adjust abduction friction to desired level by turning the hex head screw at the top of the yoke clamp.
8.
Humeral Plate can be removed to access wire routing channel.
When re-installing plate, torque fasteners 1 N-m (9 in-lb).
Position the shoulder joint vertically so that
the locking mechanism is pointed distally. If the
locking mechanism is rotated too far clockwise or
counterclockwise it will impede the Bowden cable
of the remote lock or nudge kit.

Align the shoulder joint vertically when
determining the mounting position.
Note: Avoid abduction angles that will cause contact
with the yoke joint.
