6.1 Unpacking

X Check the Vaporizer according to
Chapter 1.1 "Scope of Delivery",
page 39 for completeness.

6.2 Power Connection

X Check the Vaporizer and the USB
cable for externally visible dam-
age. Never operate a damaged
Vaporizer.
X Make sure that the USB cable is not
damaged by bending, crushing or
pulling.
X In case of doubt, have the electrical
system checked by a specialist to
ensure compliance with local safe-
ty regulations.
X To charge the battery, use only the
USB cable supplied with the Vapor-
izer or the optional 5-volt charger
from Storz & Bickel.
X We advise against the use of mul-
tiple sockets and/or extension ca-
bles. Where absolutely necessary,
use only products with a quality
certificate (e.g. UL, IMQ, VDE, +S,
etc.) if the stated power value ex-
ceeds the power requirements
(A=Ampere) of the connected de-
vices.
X Keep the Vaporizer and the USB
cable away from pets (e.g. rodents)
and pests.

6.3 Charging the Battery

The battery charge of the new product
has a level of up to 80%.
To charge the battery, use only the

USB cable supplied with the vapor-
izer, the Power Adapter available as
an accessory, or the Storz & Bickel
12 Volt Car Charger.
X Fully charge the battery before first
use.
X Connect the USB cable to the
charging socket of the Vaporizer
and the power source.
The charging process is acknowl-
i
edged with a short illumination of
the LED display (short green/red/
blue) and vibration.
The battery charge status is sig-
i
naled by the blue light on the LED
display.
