DIN head unit provision with pocket

1. Locate the factory wiring harness in
the dash. Metra recommends using the
proper mating adapters from Metra and
AXXESS to integrate your new radio. Re-
connect the negative battery terminal
and test the unit for proper operation.
2. Slide the DIN cage into the Radio
Housing and secure by bending the
metal locking tabs down. (Figure A)
3. Snap the pocket into the bottom
opening of the radio housing. (Figure B)
4. Slide the aftermarket head unit into the
cage and secure. (Figure B)
5. Plug the A/C harness into the car side of
the climate control plug and the other
side into the kit
6. Reassemble dash in reverse order of
disassembly using the 99-5826CH
radio trim panel instead of the
factory radio trim panel.
