16. Using a phillips screwdriver, remove the six screws (4) that secure the front belly pan (2) to the underside of the
vehicle's front fascia.
17. Using a phillips screwdriver, remove the three screws (1) that secure the front belly pan (2) to the lower edge of the
vehicle's wheelhouse/wheelwell splash shield. Repeat for the other side.
18. Using a small pick tool and pry tool, remove the four push pin fasteners (3) that secure the front belly pan (2) to the
underside of the vehicle's lower crossmember. Repeat for the other side.
19. Remove the front belly pan (2) from the underside of the vehicle.
20. Disconnect the engine wire harness from the A/C
compressor (2).
21. Using a 13mm socket/ratchet/wrench, remove the nut
(5) and position the heater tube bracket (4) out of the
way.
22. Support the A/C compressor, remove the stud
(3) and the three bolts (1) using a 13mm
socket/ratchet/wrench.
23. Reposition the A/C compressor (2) away from the en­
gine.
NOTE: The A/C compressor may be repositioned with­
out disconnecting the refrigerant lines or discharging
the refrigerant system.
