UBRICATION
l of the bearings in this product are lubricated with a
ufficient amount of high grade lubricant for the life of

Always protect hands by wearing heavy gloves and/or
wrapping the cutting edges of the blade with rags and
other material when performing blade maintenance.

REPLACING THE CUTTING BLADE
See figure 9-10.
NOTE: Only use authorised replacement blades. Replac
worn or damaged blades and bolts in sets to preserv
balance.
■ Stop the motor and remove the switch key. Allo
blade to come to a complete stop.
■ Remove the battery pack.
■ Turn the mower on its side.
■ Wedge a block of wood between the blade and mow
deck to prevent the blade from turning.
■ Loosen the blade nut by turning it counterclockwis
(as viewed from bottom of mower) using a 15 m
wrench or socket (not provided).
■ Remove the blade nut, spacer, blade insulator, an
blade.
■ Make certain the blade holder is pushed complete
against the motor shaft.
■ Place the new blade on the shaft. Ensure blad
is properly seated with shaft going through cent
blade hole and the two blade posts inserted into the
respective holes on the blade. Make sure it is installe
with the curved ends pointing up toward the mow
deck and not down toward the ground. When seate
properly, the blade should be fl at against the blad
holder.
■ Replace the blade insulator and spacer, then threa
the blade nut on the shaft and fi nger tighten.
NOTE: Make certain all parts are replaced in the exa
order in which they were removed.
■ Torque the blade nut down clockwise using a torqu
wrench (not provided) to ensure the bolt is proper
tightened. The recommended torque for the blade n
is 62.5~71.5 kgfcm (350-400 in.-lb.).
REPLACING THE BATTERY
The mower battery is designed for maximum life; howeve
like all batteries, it will eventually need to be replace
Charge the new battery pack before use.
To install a new battery:
■ Remove the switch key.
■ Carefully unlock and remove the battery pack.
■ Install the new battery pack.
