7.3 Return shipment process

Use the re-usable packing of the new delivered X-ray tube housing assembly for the return
shipment of the faulty X-ray tube housing assembly.
This guarantees a transport of the defective X-ray tube housing assembly in a packing
which has been developed for this purpose.
All X-ray tube housing assemblies are delivered including a set of documentation. In addi-
tion to the Instructions For Use / Service Information and the CE certification this set of
documentation also contains a Unit Manual "Online Tube Report" which describes the pro-
cedure to generate the Tube Report. See section 8.
The Tube Report also consists of a CD-ROM inclusive software filed at the beginning of
this manual.
After an exchange of the X-ray tube housing assembly:
•
Proceed the instructions of the Unit Manual "Online Tube Report" of section 8.
•
Return the defective X-ray tube housing assembly to the X-ray tube factory in Ham-
burg.

Send the Tube Report via E-Mail to DMC Hamburg, BU X-Ray Tubes.

When the X-ray tube housing assembly arrives in Hamburg and the Tube Report is com-
pletely filled out the customer receives a credit note for the X-ray tube housing or warranty
is issued according to the warranty regulations arranged between BU X-Ray Tubes and
Customer Services.

In case the Tube Report is missing or not completely filled out the credit note for the
X-ray tube housing is reduced respectively!
