Connection of the fan

Stator cable 7 x 0.82 mm²
Use two wires of the stator cable.
3-phase stator cable
An additional cable 2 x 0.82 mm², screened has to be installed at the feedthrough of the
stator cable.

Remove the protective cap from the anode side.

Fix the bracket (2) with two countersunk screws M3 to ring (3).
Arrange the leads going to the stator and fan connection and squeeze them down so
far that guard (4) can be placed upon ring (3). Fix the guard to the ring with two cheese-
head screws M3, washers and lock washers.
Connect the leads to the fan (2 x 0.82 mm²).
The operating voltage 230 V of the fan can be taken from the 230 V supply circuit of the
generator.
Place cap (5) with the built-in fan upon the X-ray tube housing in such a manner that
the three through-holes at the periphery of the cap coincide with the three threaded
holes M5 on ring (3). One of the three threaded holes is located in bracket (2).
Fix the cap with three special-type screws (1) and three locking washers.
Before attaching the anode and cathode end caps mechanically, connect them with the
protective-earth conductor.
Bring end cap (6) into position and fix it with three countersunk screws.
Check that the vane of the fan is not obstructed.

Solder the cable on at the excess temperature switch.
