5. Sensor bracket/Bumper beam – (a) use 10 mm socket to remove (4) bolts from the sensor bracket. (b) use 15 mm socket to remove (6) factory flange nuts from
bumper beam. Return bumper beam to owner.
6. Hitch installation – (a) raise the hitch into position and loosely tighten to studs. Torque (3) factory flange nuts to the studs, each side. Tighten all fasteners with
torque wrench to 42 Lb.-Ft. (57 N*M). See Figure 1.
7. Reinstall the wiring harness, fascia, fasteners, trunk panels, wheel well liners and bottom appearance panel removed in Step 1-5.
