If values A and B blink, it means that the selected
program is not yet in use. Then the device switches off
after 30 seconds again. In the meantime, the fan runs
until the standby mode. Values A and B continue
to blink until the program automatically intervenes
and turns the device on.

7.10 Deactivation of the Week Timer

You can disable all the week timers, by pressing
the week timer button 9 again, after P6 is shown.
Then the reading in the display extinguishes.
Alternatively, you can use the week timer button 9
and then immediately press the cancel button 6  .
The week timer can also be disabled by pressing
the ON/OFF button 1 once, or by pressing the
ON/OFF button E five times while the value B
is flashing.

7.11 Detection of open windows

Please note: The window test can only be carried
out when a heating level is selected, not in the fan
mode.
These are repeated measurement cycles.
Each of them will run 10 minutes. For
each cycle, the following measurements
will be made: a start measurement, a first
comparison measurement after 5 minutes
and another comparison measurement
after 10 minutes. If one of the two com-
parison measurements is more than 8°C
lower than the start measurement, the de-
vice will detect it as an open window and
automatically switch off.
Turn on the device (see Starting Up).
Select one of the two heating levels
(see 'Heating step adjustment').

Press the window button 3  . The temperature
display F on the display starts to blink:
The first measuring cycle the window measure-
ment starts after 1 minute.
The first comparison measurement is carried out
after 5 more minutes. If the measured temperature
is more than 8°C below the start measurement, the
device turns off and the window check is comple-
ted. If this is not the case, the device will continue
to heat and the test will go on.
The second comparison measurement is made
10 minutes after the start measurement. If the
measured temperature is more than 8°C below
the start measurement, the device turns off and
the window check is completed. If this is not the
case, the second comparison measurement will
be taken as a new start measurement and the
new measurement cycle will start.
As long as you do not finish the window test by
pressing the window button 3  , it repeats until
the measured temperature is more than 8°C
below the start measurement.
As soon as the device detects an open window, it
stops to heat. An audible alarm will sound for 5 se-
conds and the fan will run 30 seconds till the stand-
by mode. The temperature indicator F and the indi-
cator „OF" are shown blinking on the display. While
the indicator „OF" blinks, the switched-off device is
in the "open-window" mode.
Please note: When the window test is completed,
the device must be started manually, if desired. To do
so, press the on/off button 1 on the remote control
unit to turn the device off. The heater switches off.
The blinking temperature indicator F on the display
and the indicator „OF" will be deleted.
