From time to time check the cord for damage. Never use the

appliance if cord or appliance show any signs of damage or
malfunction. All repairs or adjustments to this unit must be carried
out by an authorized service center or a competent qualified
electrician.
Only use the appliance for deep-frying in the manner described
•
in this instruction booklet. Only cook fryable and consumable
foodstuff.
Ensure that your food is as dry as possible before frying.
•
Never operate the appliance without oil in it. Ensure that the oil
•
level is always between the minimum and maximum marks inside
the bowl. Never overfill the bowl as hot oil might be ejected.
Do not use outdoors.
•
Extreme caution must be used when moving fryer containing hot
•
oil.
Be sure handles are properly assembled to basket and locked in
•
place. See Basket Assembly Instructions.
The container is designed for use with this appliance. It must
•
never be used on a range top.
Do not set a hot container on a wet or cold surface.
•
Do not use a cracked container or a container having a loose or
•
weakened handle.
Keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct
•
contact with food.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to
•
cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning
the appliance.
The main housing, inner bowl, lid, basket and handle can be
•
washed by hand or in the dishwasher. Ensure that all the parts are
completely dry before reassembling.
To protect against electric shock DO NOT immerse the control
•
panel, plug or power cord in water or any other liquid and never
place it in the dishwasher.
Wait until the appliance is completely cool before moving,
•
cleaning or storing it. Always take the appliance by the carrying
handles. Always unplug the appliance before handling it.
Your fryer is supplied with a grease filter lid. The filter does not
•
need replacing. The lid can be cleaned in hot soapy water or in
