6.3 Safety sensors
A red highlighted, flashing speaker symbol indicates a current light alarm. A green speaker
symbol indicates the proper condition of the monitored function. A speaker symbol that is not
highlighted indicates that the function is not monitored.

01 Bed exit assistant: Submenu for switching to calls triggered at edge of bed
02 Humidity assistant: Submenu for sensitivity adjustment
03 Side guard assistant: Submenu with selectable modes for call triggering
04 Bed height assistant: Triggers a call when the bed height is changed
05 Nurse present button: In this mode, the nurse call system does not send any calls. It swit-
ches off automatically after around 15 minutes. Live calls are also acknowledged via this.
06 Brake assistant: Triggers a call, when a brake is released
07 Quit nursecall: All active (red marked) calls are reset
The functions shown on the screen depend on the selected bed configuration.
To access additional settings for individual functions (submenus), click the gear
symbol (see next page for description).

alarm. If the bed is connected to a call system, the light alarm is transmitted optically and
acoustically depending on the call system. The light alarm can then be turned off at the call
system.
