7. Working life

7.1 Contents of the electro cylinder kit

The LZ 80 electro cylinder is delivered ready for operation as a standalone component.
Controllers (e.g. PLC) and hand switches or accessories are not included with the electro cylinder
as delivered.
The LZ 80 PL and FL electro cylinders are delivered ready for operation as standalone components.
Motors, motor adapters, couplings, controllers (e.g. PLC) and hand switches or accessories are
not included with the electro cylinder as delivered.
The LZ 80 PL and FL can be provided to order ready for operation with a motor. Controllers (e.g.
PLC) and hand switches or accessories are not included with the electro cylinder as delivered.

7.2 Transport and storage

The product is to be checked by qualified staff for visual and functional damage.
Damage due to transport and storage is to be reported to the line manager and to
RK Rose+Krieger GmbH immediately.
It is forbidden to start up damaged electro cylinders.
The following environmental conditions are laid down for electro cylinder storage:
•
no oil-contaminated air
•
contact with solvent-based paints must be avoided
•
lowest/highest ambient temperature: -20 °C/+60°C
•
relative humidity: from 30% to 75%
•
Air pressure: from 700 hPa to 1060 hPa
•
falling below the dewpoint is not allowed
Divergent environmental factors must be approved by RK Rose+Krieger GmbH.
