7.4 Limit switches
The electro cylinder is fitted with two limit switches. When using controllers which are intended
for electro cylinders, the limit switches prevent the maximum travel being exceeded or the bot-
tom stopping point being passed. When using other controllers or with a direct power supply, the
electro cylinder can drive beyond the limit switches and cause damage.
During wiring, you must not counterchange the switches for the front and rear end
stops.
The electro cylinder can be damaged mechanically if limit switches are not used prop-
erly.
This can lead to personal injury or damage to property.
